The business challenge

A good idea isn’t a good app yet.

Apps compete for a place on someone’s phone. If the first few screens confuse people, they uninstall — and getting them back is hard.

  • 01

    Too many features at once

Trying to launch everything delays the release and hides the one feature people came for.

  • 02

    Two platforms, double the work

Separate iOS and Android teams can mean double the cost and features that drift apart.

  • 03

    The backend is an afterthought

An app without a reliable API, accounts and data behind it breaks the moment users arrive.

  • 04

    Store review surprises

Rejections over privacy, payments or metadata can push a launch back by weeks.

What we deliver

Everything between idea and app store.

We cover the app, the systems behind it and the work that keeps it improving after launch.

  • iOS app development

Apps for iPhone and iPad that follow Apple’s interface and privacy guidelines.

  • Android app development

Apps for the wide range of Android phones, released through Google Play.

  • Cross-platform apps

One shared codebase for iOS and Android when it suits the product and budget.

  • Mobile UI/UX design

Flows and screens designed for thumbs, small screens and short attention spans.

  • Backend & API integration

Accounts, data, notifications and payments, connected through a secure API.

  • Releases & feature updates

Store listings, review submissions, crash fixes and new features over time.

Key features & benefits

Decisions that make apps last.

A focused first release
You launch sooner with the core feature, then grow from real user feedback.
Shared codebase where it fits
One team ships to both platforms, so features stay in step.
Prototype before build
You test the flow on a real phone before paying for development.
Store-ready from day one
Privacy labels, screenshots and listings are prepared alongside the build.

Our process

From sketch to store listing.

Mobile work is staged so that you can hold the app in your hand early and often.

  1. 01

    Product scope

We agree the core user, the main task and what the first version must include.

  2. 02

    Prototype on device

Clickable screens you can try on your own phone and share with users.

  3. 03

    App & API build

The app and its backend are built together, with test builds every week.

  4. 04

    Testing & store prep

Device testing, store listings, screenshots and privacy details.

  5. 05

    Release & updates

Submission to the stores, launch support and a plan for the next features.

Use cases

Apps that earn their home-screen spot.

Illustrative examples of how businesses use this service — not client case studies.

  • Illustrative example

    A trades business

An app to quote, schedule jobs, send invoices and track expenses from the van.

  • Illustrative example

    A membership club

Bookings, class schedules and member passes, with push notifications for changes.

  • Illustrative example

    A retailer

A loyalty app with offers, order history and a faster checkout than the mobile site.

Mobile Application Development: your questions.

Should we build native or cross-platform?

It depends on the features and budget. Cross-platform shares one codebase for iOS and Android; native makes sense for apps that lean heavily on device features. We recommend an approach after scoping.

Do you handle the App Store and Google Play submission?

Yes. We prepare the listings, screenshots and privacy details, submit the builds and handle any review feedback.

Can you build the backend too?

Yes. Most apps need accounts, a database and an API, and we build and host those alongside the app.

Can you take over an existing app?

Often, yes. We start with a code review to see what can be kept, what needs fixing and what it would cost to continue.

What happens after launch?

Apps need regular updates for new OS versions and devices. We offer ongoing plans for fixes, updates and new features.

Bring your app idea to life.

Tell us who the app is for and what they need to do. We’ll reply within one working day with next steps.
